About Us
Our mission is to emphasize the four keys to community empowerment; mentoring, education, health and wellness and economic development. Our focus is supporting the youth of our community to become better prepared for the future through positive role models in building self worth to reach their full potential. Who We Are
We are adult black men living in Bloomington, Illinois trying to make a difference in the life of youth through mentorship, education, health awareness and economic development. We are adults who believe we can use our business acumen and experience to prevent them from making poor choices in their lives.
Our Organization's Mission
Our mission is to improve the quality of life within our community and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all.
Who We Serve
We serve youth first through grade school to high school. We also support and encourage the growth of college students and young professionals.
Our Programs
Mentorship for youth in public K-12 schools is our primary focus. We currently have three mentoring programs in both public school districts. Prostate cancer awareness and testing through an annual breakfast and economic support for current college students are active outreach focuses.

What Sets Us Apart
We are collaborators. We believe our work builds on efforts already taking place by other leadership organizations. We work with and share our resources with other NGO organizations to build community.
Objectives for This Fiscal Year
Increase membership to 100 due paying professional men
Fully staff working committees
Conduct market research for fully functional 2009 marketing plan.
Recent Accomplishments
A new leadership team, the formation of working committees, increased membership and greater media awareness and marketing. The implementation of new mentoring programs in two schools. We have expanded program services to provide economic support to current college students.
