About Me :
I am dedicated to learning more about the non-profit world and becoming involved with helping those in need. I strongly believe in non-profit organizations such as The Rock Foundation.
Things I Like to Do For Fun
I go to the movies with my wife and a small circle of friends or just hang out at home in the pajamas. I also enjoy getting onstage and acting, whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Issue(s) I am Passionate About
I'm very passionate about the future of our children. As a minority working in an higher education, I see that children are not properly prepared. It's important to not have the eco-sociological elements affect our children, though they are big distractions to them. With these distractions come failure...with failure comes concern. The children are our future societal leaders and every child deserves a chance in life.
An Issue I Would Like to Learn More About
I'd love to learn more about non-profit and philanthropy. I have worked for non-profit oraganizations at the lowest level, but am more interested in how they work. As far as philanthropy, I just love helping wherever I can. I don't have money, but I have passion for people. I am in pursuit of my Master of Public Administration degree and hope to do some good with it.
My Personal Hero(s)
My mom and my dad (may he rest in peace), my loving wife and God! Lastly, those troop who fight for us everyday. As a former Army guy, I have nothing but love and respect for them.
