Our Organization's Mission
Our mission is to educate, empower and motivate children worldwide through health education and physical fitness.
Who We Serve
Children ages 0-22.
Our Programs
The Rock’s Global Toy Chest: The Rock’s Global Toy Chest benefits children in developing countries. Toys, basic necessity items (clothing, shoes, blankets), athletic equipment, and school supplies are shipped to schools and communities in developing countries selected by The Rock Foundation. The program thrives on generous in-kind, corporate and private donations. Contributions to this program make a tremendous impact in the lives of these children by building their confidence and self-esteem and creating hope. This program works closely with PROJECT KNAPSAK, a new educational program that The Rock Foundation supports.

Project Knapsack - educates American school children about the issues facing their peers in developing countries. The program promotes cultural awareness and encourages students to make a difference through the means of various creative 'giving' projects for the benefit of their international counterparts. This educational program empowers both American school children and their international peers by reducing barriers that affect learning and building confidence and self-esteem in order to achieve educational goals. With the support of The Rock Foundation, American school children adopt a class of their peers in a developing country, equip the class with backpacks filled with new school supplies and participate in a pen pal exchange program.

National Children’s Fitness Challenge: The Rock Foundation is an advocate for physical fitness. We believe that childhood fitness routines are not only imperative for curbing childhood obesity, but that an active lifestyle builds self-confidence and teaches children the important life lessons of setting goals, facing challenges, overcoming obstacles, and realizing accomplishments. National Children’s Fitness Challenge is an obstacle course race. A series of races are conducted regionally throughout the year culminating with the final National Challenge Series.

Beginning in 2009, you can bring Children's Fitness Challenge to your school. Learn more at www.childrensfitnesschallenge.com.

I think it's a great thing that you do for the kids in Cambodia. Having been in Siem Reap last December, it's evident that the kids need our support as most people live without clean water and electricity even if Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples attract tourists from all over the world.

We would like to connect with you on MTDN.com. We are grateful for every opportunity we have to build relationships between the web-community and the Children's Dream Fund. With the help and support of caring people, we have been able to make dreams come true for every child referred to us for the past 28 years.

This past year we granted over 120 dreams and will need everyone’s support more than ever for 2009. One of the dreams we recently completed was for 17-year-old Matthew whose dream came true when he and his family traveled to Hawaii to attend the Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. Thanks to our generous community Matthew has memories that will last a lifetime.

If you would like to know more about the Children's Dream Fund and how you can help, I would be happy to talk to you 727.896.6390 or email sharvey@childrensdreamfund.org. Thank you for partnering with us to make children’s dreams come true.

Sincerely,

Sarah Harvey
