I began my interest in the non-profit sector several years ago volunteering for a variety of different groups. My career began when I was lucky enough to obtain a job as the Development Director of the Humane Society of Pinellas. What a worthwhile cause, such wonderful animals awaiting a loving home and I was able to witness the rescue and match of many. I then accepted a position with The Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast helping raise funds for their family of programs. In the short time I have worked for The Hospice I have seen us help terminally ill patients (from infant and up, to bereavement counseling, AIDS awareness and much more)and their loved ones. I look forward to many more rewarding years helping others.
