Making a difference is a huge part of my life. I am the co-founder and President of Learning is an Art, a direct sales company that sells educational games and toys, and donates 100% of its profits, after taxes and expenses, to top-rated charities. I believe that giving back is good business, and so we try to run our business in accordance with our ideals. Our office is virtual, which reduces our carbon footprint (and our employees LOVE working from home!) We pack our boxes with used, recycled office paper that we've shredded, and we print on 100% recycled paper. We carry many eco-friendly toys and games, and the goal is to eventually have an entirely green line. And we believe in cause-related marketing, which helps charities while also telling people about our business. I believe that this is the way business should be done, and am committed to setting an example that other businesses can follow.
