Wish Description
Remember.org is one of the leading educational sites on the Internet, sharing information since 1995 with over 3 million students and teachers per year. Growing from a social network community of contributors, Remember.org aims to:
1. Integrate interns to help update the growing web site, and to connect to communities online and offline.
2. Develop learning "feeds", which are edited, evaluated collections of links/audio/video, and which can be customized to suit the needs of teachers and students worldwide. This will allow the filtering of inappropriate content, controlled by the teachers, students, and community that deliver this important education to their students.
3. Share Remember.org expertise in distance education through the development of a board of teachers, all independent, and experts, connecting students with trusted information, and videos they cannot access currently.
How The Money Will Be Spent
All funds will go 100% to fund the interns; Remember.org has an internal, intern development program developed since 1996. We have volunteer interns, yet find that we need someone who can work with us for a focused period of time.
Remember.org is the Holocaust Community founded in 1995, Remember.org (A Cybrary
of the Holocaust) is an educational social network of contributors (survivors, liberators,
historians, and authors), sharing the best research resources and stories through
art, photography, painting, audio/video, and remembrance.
